Irvin Childress is the President of Childress Heating & A/C, Inc. He is a life-long resident of Fredericksburg, Virginia and is a member of many local organizations.
Mr. Childress is married to the former Gale Sullivan and they have two daughters, who both work in their business, and three grandchildren.

    Mr. Childress started Childress Heating & A/C in 1992 as a sole proprietor and incorporated his business in the state of Virginia on November 2, 1993. Irvin has over
35 years of experience in the HVAC trade and currently holds a Master HVAC license, Gas Fitter Tradesman License and is CFC certified.

    Childress Heating & A/C, Inc. is a Class A Contractor with trade designations in Master HVAC, Master Natural Gas Fitter, Master Liquified Petroleum Gas, and Master Natural Gas Fitter. This is a family owned business that services the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania and Stafford area. The company consists of various departments to include service, commercial installation, and residential installation.

    Childress Heating & A/C, Inc. is a York dealer but services and maintains all makes and models of HVAC equipment. We specialize in heat pumps and gas. We are insured through Harleysville Insurance and are a member of the Better Business Bureau and the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce.
