Gordon Wells & Associates, Inc. was incorporated as a Professional Corporation in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1995. It is the successor firm of William G. Wells & Associates, P.C. Originally founded in 1950 in Roanoke, Virginia to provide architectural and engineering services to the Western Virginia Region, the corporation's Richmond office now provides mechanical and electrical engineering services throughout Virginia and in adjacent states. The firm also provides architectural, civil, and structural services through joint venture and sub-contracts to supplement the mechanical and electrical program.
Our corporate roster includes four licensed professionals who have experience averaging more than 25 years each. Seven personnel, including five people in our Richmond office, are available to provide the highest quality service for your project. Our efficient, small size allows direct and responsive involvement of the firm's principals throughout each project. This provides for consistent and experienced attention from a project's initial planning stages through to owner hand-over and on into the warranty period.
The services we offer include various types of studies, designs, construction documents, and assistance during bidding and construction for projects requiring heating, ventilation, air condition, plumbing, steam systems, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, fire suppression and energy management systems.
In addition to serving various architectural firms in the region, some of our recent clients include County of Henrico, Richmond City Public Schools, Henrico County Public Schools, Altria (Philip Morris, USA), Richmond Gravure, Hermitage Nursing Home, VA Medical Centers (Richmond and Roanoke), Fiorucci Foods and Kroger Stores.
