About us:

    Hallsborough builders, Inc. is owned and operated by Sherwood and Sissy Dance has been in business since 1978. For many years, our primary focus was custom homes. In 1996, we began working with the vinyl railings and fencing. At the time, we were building a large custom home and the owners wanted to use vinyl hand railings. After someresearch, we purchased the railings from a dealer in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We were very  research, we purchased the railings from a dealer in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We were very impressed with the quality of the product, the look and the installation process. On our next home, we suggested the owners utilize vinyl railings. After installing them for the second time, we contacted the manufacturer, toured their facilities and became the local dealer in the Richmond area for Superior Plastic Products’ vinyl railings, columns, fencing and specialty products. Today, at least 90% of our business comes from sales and/or installation of vinyl rails, fencing and decking.

In an effort to keep costs down, we do not have a formal showroom. Every job is custom cut and priced based on the actual components necessary to complete your order. We will be happy to meet with you, furnish you with brochures or answer any questions you may have. We have a long list of satisfied customers (homeowners, builders, commercial and governmental agencies) and a list of locations where our vinyl rails, fencing and decking have been installed in your area.
