Welcome to our bar at The Professional Bartending Academy! We are celebrating our 17th year in Richmond as a Virginia bartending school certified by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. Our bartending school in Virginia will prepare you for a full time or part time job in the food and beverage industry without any prior bartending experience necessary!
Bartending is not a skill that you can learn through just a book or online course. If you want to learn the right way, our personal, hands-on teaching approach is the best option. We guarantee to provide you with the highest quality education and have fun while you’re doing it. Our classroom size is limited to just 10 students per class so your learning experience is optimized and you can actually make a few new friends as well!
Unlike some of your other classroom experiences, your hands on experience will prepare you for success in the food and beverage industry! While attending our bartending class, you will learn how to bartend at a custom-made bar that is stocked with facsimile liquors, liqueurs, wine, beer, mixers, and garnishes. Professional glassware, utensils, and equipment are also provided for you for your behind the bar hands-on training! Each bartend station has a three-bay sink with hot and cold running water, so you will develop proper bartending habits of maintaining cleanliness at your first bartending job.
